MHT-CET

Overview

MHT-CET is a state-level examination in India for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and health sciences programs in the state of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The test covers topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/Health Sciences. The test is usually conducted once a year in May and it is a computer-based test. Candidates who perform well on MHT-CET are offered admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and health sciences programs at colleges in Maharashtra.

Description

MHT-CET  is a state-level examination in India for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and health sciences programs in the state of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The test covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/Health Sciences. The test is usually conducted once a year in May, in computer-based format.

Eligibility criteria for MHT-CET is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject and should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates).

Candidates who perform well on the MHT-CET are offered admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and health sciences programs at colleges in Maharashtra. The colleges include Government, Government-aided and Unaided institutes. The MHT-CET is considered as a single window for admission to Health Science, Engineering and Pharmacy programs in the state of Maharashtra.
